Any suggestions down in Naples? We'll be there this weekend and need one more night filled. We have Trulucks, Chops City Grill and Ocean Prime lined up. I know you're the opposite direction of flying into RSW, just curious if you have an recommendations or head further South. Nothing better than Gulf side of Florida.

This place is awesome, and even better when you go at 5PM - 20% off! @Cincydawg would be jealous.

Going here tonight with the inlaws, it's my MIL's birthday and this is her choice.  It's a regional chain of cajun/seafood places that started in Houston.  It's actually pretty good, and I'm not buying, so hooray!

Edit: Darn, there's an X in the name which the software is automatically converting to the word twitter, so the URL won't resolve properly.  Thanks, Elon!

Anyway, it's called Pappadeux.  The one in Austin on Research Blvd if you're interested in seeing the menu.
We had those in the Chicago area. I think there is only one left (the one I went to one time).

There is a Papadeux up near Truist Park here, maybe there are more.  We went once a long while back, it was OK, similar obviously to the one in Cincy, crowded, a bit noisy, food was OK, kind of an upscaleish Lead Robster.

The Oceanaire up the street from us closed, and a place called Lure near us we liked is closing.  We've had a lot of closures recently, my friends Korean Fried Chicken place closed.  Another Indian place opened up recently, we kinda didn't need another one of those.  We have yet to try it.  It's very fancy inside.  A chicken and waffle place opened about a year ago, haven't been.

We decided to venture out maybe once a week and drive to some new place and try it, like the "French" place we just tried.  Tomorrow it's a Thai place in Buckhead.

You need to go to Naples. ;)

Or, when you're next in North Port...

This isn't that far.

I'm doing both weeks of baseball, again, We're headed to Orlando so I can run in better weather Jan. 2 and camp starts January 6-10, then I'm off recovering two days and the second camp is January 13-17.  So, we're up for some decent grub.

On occasion, I look at used Mustang GT convertibles for "fun", they are pretty $$$, $30 K and up usually without high mileage.

And I'd want a manual which are rare.
