We see the Golden Gophers in Iowa City this Saturday. Iowa could have a losing Big Ten record after this Saturday.

Minnesota surprised me, today.

My guess is we'll see a let down next Saturday.

Iowa will be Minnesota's first tough road test. Tough place to get the first test, although they were "tested" on the road at Fresno in week 2.

Didn't get to see this game as I was in the air from Florida to here. Saw the last 20 minutes of the Badgers and then the end of Illinois.

I won't see it, but I'd like to see the Gophers take PSU's spot at #4

If the Gophs are actually a good team, Penn State should not be penalized for a close road loss that much.  If they aren't, they should be left around 15 or so.

Somebody said no team has ever jumped more than 7 spots to get into the top ten, something like that.  So, do you drop PSU to say 8th and Minny at 11th?  That could well be the case.  And, it will get sorted out, I feel a let down game for Minny next week.

Penn State won't drop too far, because they have a single loss

Minnesota "should" make a big jump

Minnesota at No. 7. The Gophers won Saturday's other matchup of unbeaten teams, defeating Penn State at home. The Nittany Lions slipped four spots to No. 9.

No. 24 Indiana is ranked for the first time since 1994, snapping the longest poll drought among Power Five conference schools.
