I was pointing out that this is a pattern.
It's no secret that UNL's schedule has been tougher in the 2nd half of the season for years
Hawks, Badgers, an East team
and this season the losses were even closer than in the past.

really hard to explain why the turnovers continue through 3 or 4 different coaching staffs and many QBs and players
the problem this season stems from the QB position obviously.

Adrian Martinez was a turnover machine in Frost's offense, but Frost's offense was turnover prone.
I'm willing to wait 12 months to see if the QB play improves next season

This is really cool. Nebraska OL Nouili honors his stepfather on Senior Day against Iowa (usatoday.com)
I saw the Ragaller on the back of the jersey and I wondered who the hell this was and how many O-linemen had been injured or pulled for crap play?

never heard of RAGALLER nor seen his name on the 2-deep or the Roster

Our travel schedule is getting crazy already.  But maybe next Fall it won't be so bizarre.  Then there is Nashville of course which I plan to make.

this yarn has been uttered for 50+ years.
how does anybody from warm sunny coastal climes ever get dooped into playing in winter climates.    It didn't suddenly become cold in BIG climates.
It's about what you aspire to be. If you're a legitimate helmet known for challenging for the CFP and putting recruits in the NFL, you can recruit top talent nationally. If you're not, it doesn't mean that you can't recruit nationally, but it means you can't pull top talent away from home. You can get talent that isn't sought by the local helmets. The 2nd tier guys.

When Nebraska was a national power in the 90s, they could get those guys nationally. But they've fallen off. And I don't think the helmet is shiny enough to come back.

I was confident Nebraska would have better ball security this year. It makes no sense that turnovers continue from one coaching staff to the next.
Nebraska did improve from 3-9 (2021) to 4-8 (2022) to 5-7 (2023).
It's not good when your team leads the nation in turnovers lost, as it did in 2023.

the turnovers certainly have Rhule scratching his head

He talks about it openly in press conferences.  He's very impressed that the team has 5 victories inspite of the turnovers

a new QB could change this drastically, or not
