And DOB too.

Didn't need a QB that season.

Hell, White threw more touchdown passes against UNL than Phillips did.

2007 Arkansas

Darren McFadden
Felix Jones
Peyton Hillis
Marcus Monk

I remembered the loaded backfield for Arkansas and seemed to remember a stud WR but couldn’t remember his name.  When I looked it up I saw Monk only had 16 catches for 144 yards and thought maybe I just remembered him as being better than he was.  But the year before Monk had 50 catches for 962 yards and 11 TDS.

In 07 he only played in 7 games but so I’m assuming he was injured.
Yeah, I was ready to post one of those Arky teams, but I don't think they all lined up with productive seasons.

I was thinking about a defensive version.  Surely you could add on Dean and Ringo from that 2021 team!
.
92 Bama - Curry & Copeland + Teague & Langham

More?

Wait a second... this is just a veiled attempt at data gathering for your game, isn't it?? :)

Hillis was a fullback, so he was never really productive in college, except as a receiver his last year.

The best overall year was 2006. They opened by losing to defending runner up USC, which finished 11-2, No. 4 in the country. Then they ripped off 10 wins in a row to get No. 5. Then they lost to the team that would finish No. 3 by 5, the eventual national champion by 10 in a competitive game, and finally lost by 3 in the bowl to a 12-1 team that finished No. 7.

The next year, Hillis was better, and the other two backs were insanely good, but Monk got hurt. They lost a couple so-so games early and were mostly out of it, save for the LSU upset.

That's going to be tough.....what compares to the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse?
.
Mabye the 7th Layer of Hell (violence)?  List the top 7 defenders of the starting 11.  That takes depth.  But you get to trim some fat off of the more anonymous guys.
