I see the Duke at NW game in week 2, that will played at NW's temporary stadium,  has been moved to Friday night at 9pm.

This game has potential issues written all over it. The residents of Evanston are not going to be happy with the Friday night game time.  The temporary facilities will be only be used for the 2nd time and still might have some bugs that need working out,  and this time it will require lights as well.

But it might still might work out fine with no problems.  Fans may stay away because it's Friday night  and because it's such an odd setup.  It's still early in the year and cold weather will not be a problem.    So it may be no big deal.

I don’t think it will be a big deal. I remember when Fox starting forcing Friday broadcasts a few years ago there was lots of talk about how Friday night kickoffs would cut into the attention for high school action in state's like Iowa where high school football is emphasized across the smaller towns. It seemed Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State fans were most vocal against this. And as it turns out, haven’t most of the Friday night broadcasts taken place at schools like Maryland, Indiana, Illinois, and Minnesota? Where high school football might not be as big of hometown draw? Evanston has major high school sports but if it's only one Friday they've got to worry about - no big deal.

Posting another lakeside pic below because NW's temp setup looks pretty nifty:

It's also gonna be flooded when those Lake Michigan gales start happening. I've seen waves as high as 27 feet on occasion.
