There was a older couple that was traveling the main route thru central Punta Gorda when they spotted a expensive high end car at one of the dealerships at the largest dealer franchise in the area.
They thought at their age it would likely be the last car they would ever own and make a great Christmas present to them selves. After quite some time of negotiating they settled on a price.
The dealership was about to close for the day so the salesman agreed to hold the vehicle for twenty four hours on a hand shake. When the elderly gentleman walked in to the dealership the following day with check in hand he saw the salesman handing the keys to that car to a young lady.
He also observed that on the paper work that the selling price was now $8,000 less. Before he could say anything the salesman brings him off to the side with a wise guy look on his face and says look pop, you were a young guy once. can you blame me? Look at this chick. She is beautiful, look at the build on her, i think i have a date her next week. I might even get lucky.
Just then the young lady walks up to the elderly gentleman, hands him the keys to the car and says" here grandpa, i told you that i could get the slime bags at this dealership to lower the price of the car".
