They could annex Illinois via Lake Michigan. Then it is near perfect.

I mean, except for the fact that eliminating those states would kill nearly half of the country's GDP.

Gotta show Cindy that, she wanted to go to work right after Thankgiving(my favorite Holiday). I put the brakes on that as she had ghosts, goblins, cobwebs and witches up for a month.

Agreed. November is fine, as long as it is AFTER Thanksgiving.

(That said, the image was still funny.)

Stovetop stuffing is just sad.

One year when it was our turn to have Thanksgiving at my i s c & a aggie wife's aggie parents' house, my BIL brought his new yankee girlfriend from Connecticut or some other yankee hell-state.  Normally they do non-traditional holiday Thanksgiving dinner like enchiladas or tacos  but that year they'd decided to go traditional.  MIL baked a turkey, sides were distributed amongst family members as per usual.  We did the green bean casserole and brought a pumpkin pie, other SIL brought sweet potatoes, and then when we got there, we found out that the most critical task of making the dressing, had been assigned to the BIL.  And his yankee girlfriend took over and brought... Stovetop.

My i s c & a aggie wife would barely speak to her parents.  She loves my mom's homemade cornbread dressing and was already hacked off that we were missing it.  And then the yankee Stovetop was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

On our way home she insisted we swing by my parents' house to get some real dressing. They had plenty leftover and were happy to share.

And to this day, we never speak of that dreadful day with the awful Stovetop stuffing.
