I would break out the UCLA/Texas game in 1997, but I remember the OU/A&M game from 2003.

I often wonder, and don't want to know the answer, has there ever been a more lopsided football game between two somewhat equal programs in the history of CFB?  And I'm speaking of the A&M/OU game, infamously 77-0, and I think the scoring stopped in the 3rd quarter.  I have since come to the conclusion that our team completely quit on _oach Fran and must have hated his guts.

Horns over Colorado in the 2005 B12 championship game was almost as lopsided.  70-3 and Vince Young only played one series in the second half, all scoring was complete in the 3rd.

following 'random' theme, thus no Nebraska games.
gonna go old school games here, i'm sure all of these are on youtube.
'84 OU v Texas  (must see on YouTube).  15-15  tie on a very very soggy turf at the Cotton Bowl.  (talk about games that would be different if they had replay review).
'84 BC at Miami,  do I have to explain this?
'88 Miami at ND,  all timer.
'89 Miami at FSU (wore out the remote when I was baby sitting between this game and the Bay Bridge WS.  Toretta's debut and he was awful.
'91 Cotton Bowl Miami v Texas  (one this Board's all time favorites)  'Come on back Randall.....'
'90  #5 Tennessee v #3 Auburn, 26-26 tie.  Definitely classic Ron Franklin era (this time w Danielson) During school week, I bet an Auburn fan friend that this game would end in a tie.  It was 26-9  UT, in 4th quarter, things looked dire, but I knew Pat Dye would go for a tie if the situation presented itself.  When Tennessee kicker missed a GWFGA, one of his teammates fired a gatorade cup off of his helmet.  meanwhile Auburn was giddy and thrilled with the tie.
'91 BYU v SDSU.  52-52 tie.  great after dark game, great BYU comeback down 28.  firepower all over the field.  Even my late Grandfather stayed up late to watch with me.

I don't care what team or game you post.  It can be your own, as I posted several of the games I attended in person.

I think more than anything a lot of people watched the Big time games, like USC/Texas Rosebowl from 2006.  EVERYBODY, or nearly everybody, remembers that game.

I was just musing about games from the past that were really of little importance that were interesting, where something or maybe even one play stuck with you.

Yes, there have been many such games like that.  However, have you ever heard of any single game where the other team outscored the other one by 11 TD?  And pretty much let off the gas in the 3rd?  Even some of those OU/Texas games in the early 2000's weren't quite that bad.  And 70-3 is quite the arse stomping, but not 77-0 bad?  Can it be, that A&M is finally #1 in something?

So obviously in my first post, I referenced the Texas-ND game where they kicked a FG at the end to win it. It's kinda funny, because I said in my title that these were games that stuck with you, but I totally got the ending wrong so maybe it didn't stick with me.  I had the year right, and the winner right, but I thought Texas had missed the FG at the end to lose.

Now I'm driving myself crazy because I'm convinced that I watched a team, possibly either Texas or ND, bounce a FG off the cross-bar around that time to lose a game, and I can't find anything on the internet.  I'm sure I saw something like this happen.

Does anybody possibly remember a scenario like this, in the mid to late 90's?  I'm sure we can dig a few games up similar to this.

In 1902 Michigan beat tOSU 86-0, of course they used stevedores and construction workers to do it

the devastating losses stick. barely remember the wins.

App State was pretty god damn bad considering Chad Henne and Mike Hart were seniors and at home vs a freaking FCS team. 2006 Ohio State game was painful. So was 2016 @Iowa and of course that years THE GAME. JT Barrett was short.

nah. that 2007 Michigan team in Lloyd Carr's last year was pretty solid and filled with seniors and future NFL draft picks. to lose at home as 4 TD favorites to an FCS team was beyond embarrassing. should've been a 10-3 team but was 9-4 cause they lost at home to a fucking FCS team.

Michigan 2008 in RichRod was just a fucking ass team. Every player worth a shit graduated or left early for the NFL or transferred because they didn't want to play for that fucking hillbilly from West Verrrr-geeeen-yuh. The QB's were Nick Sheridan and Steven Threet for christ sake. Those early RichRod teams absolutely blew chunks. That team losing to Toledo was embarrassing but not incomprehensible- Chad Henne and Mike Hart losing at home to an FCS team as seniors was incomprehensible.

I don't even know what a stevedore is...and I'll wager that most others don't either.
