Not around here much anymore, but I was friends with him on Facebook. Class act and great guy. You could just tell he was a kind hearted person. He was here from my earliest days of posting with this crew many sites ago. He will be missed.
I wish you were.

I’ll try to do better, Badge. Reading through tonight seeing all the familiar names made me nostalgic. These forums allowed me to meet people that hold a place in my heart and events like today remind you how precious life and friendships are. I miss you guys.

What the hell........his loyalty and love of Northwestern made me root for them, just because it'd make a nice guy happy for them to do well..

Yeah I was concerned about Dave.  He was as active as anyone when we first started here, then fell off, but he's been around on Facebook.  But I don't think he's been here since August.

What a bucket of F***.RIP & GODspeed WildCat say hello to Gator,Hoople & LBM for us.
Heartbreaking. I didn’t know about Hoople either. Hoople was a great guy and so was Nuwildcat.
I haven’t been around much the last couple years, but I want all of you to know how thankful I am to have shared this great game with such good people the last 15 years. These losses are tough.

This is beyond sad. My wife and I met him in Chicago when we were there for the B1G BB Tournament a while back.

This was his second to last post on FB:

Oh my.  What horrible news. Very sorry to hear that. I'm sure his friends and family are devastated; he seemed like a great dude.

Jeez. How old was he?  That is awful.
He's mentioned that he was getting his PhD in piano performance at the U of M in Minneapolis in the late 90s, which puts him in his low-to-mid 40s.
Terrible. Just terrible. I met him for drinks a few years ago, and he was a damn good dude. RIP. Say hi to Gator, Hoople, and LBM up topside...

Wow.  I feel like I've been gut-punched.

Rip Wildcat.  The world was a better place with you in it.
