Pardon my whine, but this is the first time I have ever suspected that there is resentment towards the newbies that is reflected on the field. To ignore the blatant offsides on the P.A.T. block (the guy who blocked it was only able to do so because of his head start), but call the non-factor ineligible man "downfield" (the play starts on the 3 yard line, LOL) on the successful 2-point conversion is hard to take.
Great job by Purdue, who I think is a very good team (and outplayed the Terps except for turnovers), but the outcome has a slimy feel to me. Maybe nobody wants the newbies being relevant in the conference, which I think this year's Maryland team is good enough to be.
Have at it, folks, I'm sure this won't go over well and I'm fully prepared for it. I'll just drop off this site if needed...
