Hmmm.  Or much evidence for it on a few quick googles. And I’d be interested to know what kind of person he actually talked to.

The idea the Bulls wouldn’t have taken him if he declined is very funny.
It was part of the contract they showed him before the draft. Teams did that back then.

You can't just take my word for it? It was common knowledge around town.

I'm beginning to suspect that Fearless is a pretty big fan of Sanders as a CFB HC.

They did exactly what I said they did, before his rookie season. It was part of the condition of drafting him. They knew what they had and wanted him to be polished. It worked - both for the Bulls and for MJ. He gained a lot more endorsements than he would have otherwise.

This was 40+ years ago - the climate has changed.

Today's coaches and players could certainly take it upon themselves to become more polished.

That would be nice.
Yeah, Sanders' communication style has hurt him financially, lol.

But if he could have won the approval of one message board poster, it would all have been worthwhile.

Sanders is worth about $60 Million.

Jordan is worth $4 Billion.

Next.

You've said in the past that you don't understand finances. It's apparent.

As long as you think you're right, that's all that matters.  This is so stupid.  It's other things, too, but I'm not going to go there.

Kid probably would have turned out better had Carlton Fisk kicked his ass like he wanted to.

Dog whistles everywhere

Sanders is a bad coach, mainly because the same reason most announcers are bad now, because they pay for the name, not the talent.

Tom Brady is a super shitty announcer, primarily because he had never done it, and immediately was on the FOX A team.  That would be like putting some high schooler who has a ton of followers on Madden at QB of the Patriots

I never liked Sanders. Even when he was at FSU, I thought he was a brash, arrogant punk-ass kid from Fort Myers.

And I like him even less now.

So there.
