I'll never understand people hating on someone's success because they did it too _______.  Too loudly?  Too brash?  Too noisy?  

How much of a win improvement would have made it "okay"?  5?  7?  This is stupid.

If you take away all of their opponents TDs on offense, defense and special teams, then they were clearly NC contenders last year already.

I understood the attention he got last year, fine with me, I don't really get it this year.  He's a coach, his team would seem to be mediocre, perhaps not even that.  If he shocks the world, great for him and the Buffs.  I don't expect it.

They were a bad football team last year. Three more wins than the year before but no more wins than the year before that. Whatever words you want to put on them, "success" probably doesn't belong. They were no better than they've been the past few years. Making a bowl game is a clear if not particularly satisfactory benchmark. Contending for something is always good. But going from bad to worse to just bad again isn't gonna cut it.

He might well be, I'd probably go 50-50, which is a nonanswer.  He's getting paid a fair bit, which probably is nice for him.  I the Biffs go say  6-6, he MIGHT get some sniffs at sat Florida, maybe, probably not.  If they go 4-8, I think they retain him another year.

I'm hard pressed to see how Donovan survives the upcoming.
