Yeah, I am sure that MSU, Indiana, Maryland and Rutgers would each love to trade schedule templates with Nebraska.

Of course then you'd have all four "helmets" in the same division....
1919, 20, 21, 28, 29, 31, 34, 35, 36, 37, 42, 44
WWH: 1952, 54, 55, 57, 58, 60, 61, 62, 63, 65, 67, 68, 70, 72, 74, 75
1979, 81, 82, 84, 87, 94, 98
2001, 02, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

I mean how would you even "fix" it? A rule that no B1G West team would ever have to play more than 1 of OSU, PSU, and M?

So Wisconsin, Nebraska and Iowa would always get to duck the two that aren't their fixed crossover?

What are we even talking about?

The PoA.

Specifically, in this case, the PoN.

You've missed the point by a wide margin.  If winning your division is based upon overall win/loss record and conference, then crossover matchups matter.  TV's love UNL so they get the big names more often... which makes the hill harder to climb.

I'm quite certain Michigan fans feel their road is tougher than OSU's this year...  and probably has been lately due to UNL alone.

one of the things Moos asked for was that only division games count for division standings - maybe some others asked for this as well, maybe not

I'd don't think the scheduling a big deal a tall

It's the Huskers problem to build a team that can compete and win with the top teams in the conference.  that's on Moos and Frost

shut up and win games

IMO, they wouldn't be doing much better in the Big 12 - losing to Colorado the past two seasons is strong evidence

Yeah, I dont think Nebraska's lot in football life has changed much by moving to the B1G.   Their trajectory had been put into motion well before the conference shuffling had occurred.  They'd be spinning wheels in mud hiring Riley in the XII just the same.

Pelini's experience was about the same

I doubt Bo would be doing much better than his last season, even if Eichorst would have been removed and an AD that worked well with Bo would have been in place
