My Jeep passed the annual smog check this morning.

I don't always worry THAT much about it... It's got less than 80K miles. But it's a 2009 model year vehicle, so as it gets older I always worry just a little bit.

What's a smog check?  You mean like an emissions standard?

DevilFroggy and Erin got me hammered at the same time, so it's possible I'm not sure what I remember.

In Texas, emissions requirements varies by county.  Most of the counties don't have them, including mine.

And hey, I didn't even get into the time Erin and her hubby got me high at an LSU game.  We escaped the tailgating scene to their SUV due to intense weather before the game, where they and another LSU fan they knew lit 'em up.  I declined, but caught a mild second-hand high anyway.

As you can see, she's clearly a bad influence, while I, on the other hand, have been a complete paragon of virtue, always.  Just trust me.

Then we watched the Tigers dismantle the Aggies.  Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry had awesome games, again, and our young DB shut down All-Everything WR Mike Evans, because we actually had good DBs back in those days.

Everything above makes me happy, btw.

Good ta see you're watching your cholestrol,FF. I get it's Father's Day but dayum seems like once a week. Of course you're consuming organic greens and such the rest of the week.

My daughter had her dance recital last night, and other than the fact that it was 2 1/2 hours of hell for that 2 1/2 minutes of watching her perform, she did really well!

We didn't exactly go steakhouse like FF afterwards, but we had a nice dinner at Eureka! Burger... If you come across one (looks like locations are mostly up and down the West Coast, although there are locations in Tempe and Austin), give them a try.

Pretty good. I had a black and bleu mushroom burger, which was pretty good.

Although I must say... The more I go out to restaurants, the more I realize how often their food isn't as good as mine.

the 14 ounces of prime 40-day aged strip steak is pretty lean - unlike a ribeye
handcut onion rings and the fries are fried in pure cholesterol but,......... what the hell?
the pickles, carrots and celery are mostly gone from the relish tray
