Apparently our property management company needed to spend some money so the owners would have a writeoff, so they finally replaced/upgraded some flooring in the kitchen, bathrooms, and hallways. It's not the most expensive stuff [as you'd imagine], but it's SO much better than the old cheap vinyl crap that it replaced...
As a result, my wife and I decided to reconfigure the kitchen since we had to take everything apart to get stuff out, and I think we've found a much more roomy, usable, better-looking configuration than what we had.
Only downside is that one of the things we chose to do was to move the kegerator to the garage lol... But I'm not going to let that little grumpiness ruin it.
