Made a quick trip to the beach today with my son. He’s in his mid 20’s now. 

We figured this would probably be the last hot summer day of the season. Water was perfect temperature wise. We just hung out under a shade, drank beer and listened to music and enjoyed the waves. 

I often take it for granted how close we live to the beach and ocean. Good way to end the summer.

7 of my 9 kids who dont live here along with Significant others and 2 of 4 grandkids are renting an Airbnb week before Thanksgiving.  So along with my 2 kids and 5 grandkids who live here I will have most of family together.  Doesn't happen too often since they live all over the country

That sounds great, glad you enjoyed the time.

In other good news it seems like you'll have about 4 more months to enjoy such summer outings... :57:
