Who cares what he does with his personal life?  Is there a Puritan morality clause in his contract with the Jaguars?  He's an adult and his players are professionals now.
Not sure if he was in the Pub when he didn't/couldn't take the flight back to Jax.That would be problematic

Nobody.

But as Ryan Shazier was saying on his podcast this week (while admitting he an Urban are friends) the issue is that the good players on your team start rolling their eyes whenever you talk about accountability, and the marginal players on your team start worrying, because while you might survive a 4-12 season, they won't.  It's not a matter of "oh, he flirts with co-eds, he's not a stand up guy", it's the implications of when you try and get something out of them, when they know you don't expect it of yourself.

I wrote this elsewhere. I don’t care because I care about his personal life. I care because it’s pretty funny.

Mr serious leader of men who has had his family out front on multiple occasions is actually personally somewhat grimy. Oh, and he looked like a slacker in front of his direct reports to boot. It’s kinda funny.

+1. There was a report that he had lost the locker room by cancelling a team meeting. This goes against anyone's experience with jobs or meetings.
I can think of maybe 2 ways you "lose a lockerroom":
1 - you don't put the best players on the field
2 - you don't put the players in a position to succeed

As long as they're playing and aren't horribly outcoached, you're not going to lose the lockerroom.

Joe Burrow is pretty awesome. I see a lot of Tom Brady in his game. Best young QB in the league imo. I just pray the Bengals don't ruin a career that looks like it could be HoF worthy if he keeps improving.

Looks like you're in lock-step with "the narrative."  Did Meyer forget how to coach?  Why does he draw so much ire?
Jacksonville is 0-4 vs a tough schedule.  They lost on a last-second FG last week.  They're starting a rookie QB.  Their 2nd round pick is out for the year.  They went 1-15 last year.
.
What's he supposed to have done?

He also wrote the Psalms and was a tad bit paranoid

0-4 isn't the problem. It's that he's out getting trashed and trying to pick up chicks half his age.

I am 100% certain that he will figure it out. He'll win in the NFL. Why? He's got a legit potential franchise QB on a cheap rookie deal for 5 years. I am buying in on Lawrence. In the NFL- if you have a QB- you'll win. If you don't have a QB. You won't win. Simple as that. And Urbz got himself a QB.

He'll turn it around. IF he sticks with it. Who knows if he'll want to? How many college coaches have we seen flame out and quit early?

So that means the problem is he got caught.
There are 31 other HCs in the NFL and they're doing the same things.

So Meyer's crime is lacking tact.  Awesome.
