Yup I remember it.  It was among the first bits of entertainment to lampoon the PC movement.  It might have got itself canceled along the way, I don't know.

Do any of you remember the movie "How I Got Into College" from the 80s?  It was a silly little high school teenage movie but it set my early crush for Lara Flynn Boyle.  Like you, I was searching for it because I wanted to show it to my daughter as she was applying to colleges, but I couldn't find it streaming anywhere at the time.

Watched PCU. Think about it every time I see anything about ultimate frisbee.

I remember enjoying it at the time. It pokes fun at all the nonsense, IIRC, which I like. How well it did it, I can't say that I remember.

But getting the George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars to a college party would be pretty cool.

Love real genius.  Laslo winning all those prizes.  Ending song everyone wants to rule the world with the popcorn.  Good plain entertainment

Spot on. Writing was poor. Could have been much better; instead it was mediocre and landed with a thud.

So far, I'm pleased. I'm curious to see what happens with Coach Chilton. Really interested in what happens next with her.

I was wanting to watch it with my kid before he went off to college but apparently it's not available on streaming anywhere...
No memory of this one whatsoever, and that's surprising, because I think I've seen all the movies from that era.
