Wasn't planning on seeing the new Spiderman, but I'm a sucker for my oldest daughter wanting to hang out, so we saw it. Actually, really good! I've been jaded on Marvel movies lately, but this one was great. Wasn't dependent on giant CGI battles, so I liked that.
Considering a lot of those movies have just been garbage, thought it was pretty decent.

A few weeks back, saw the Odyssey and the invite. Both strong films.

We have what our HOA gives us (included in HOA fee) so we don't have any options. And it's all ads from the right. Nothing from the left (yet).

We have a couple of clowns running for the seat vacated by the guy who is running for governor here.

One is a guy from New York, who was a US rep there, but had to resign when he got convicted for insider trading. WTF.

Another is a guy from Illinois - Jim Oberweis. He ran for so many offices up there and lost so many races, people call him the Milk Dud (he owns a dairy).

Oberweis Dairy - Milk, Ice Cream and More

Just go away already.

And there are like 9 more after those guys. Lots and lots of ads. It sucks.

August 18th is a great day. It's primaries here, and also my wife's 65th. We won't be watching TV that night.
if you have a smart TV, you can sign up for service that will probably let you dodge that.

Of course, you have to pay for that and figure it out, which might not be appealing if you are used to the old TV model.
