I absolutely loved Seinfeld in the late 90’s. I never watched the first few seasons, I truly didn’t start watching until 1996. I recently tried to watch the first few seasons and, meh. Just not that into them. Even the last few seasons I just don’t really care for. I mean, they’re ok, but not really special.
I watch 1-2 episodes per night as a fall asleep show. Seasons 4-7 are the sweet spot. Every time I run across someone who hasn't seen it, I beg them to start at S4 instead of S1.

I've watched a couple interviews with Jerry and Larry and they admitted they had no idea how to write a show, so it's understandable that it took them a bit of time to find their legs.

Larry left after S7, and while I'd still label S8 good, the style of plot shifted from quirky real life scenarios to more whacky fantasy type stuff.

S9 felt like a mail-in, but there still some good episodes.

Speaking of Joaquin Phoenix, although he wasn't in this one, finally watched Gladiator II last night.

Felt the same as I did about the first, very enjoyable, but the slow parts are a little too slow, and I think there is a great 2 hour movie baked into a very good 2.5 hour one.

But if you're going to talk about something, then don't you think you should know what you're talking about?
that's ed zachery why I rarely comment in this thread
Why because you don't know what you're talking about or rarely watch the series? or Boff. IMHO Seinfeld was Meh

Oh yeah I totally forgot about that movie.  Missed it in the theater, I'll have to check to see if it's on one of the 17 streaming services my wife insists we carry...

I didn't care for it at all.

The original is one of my favorites.

Same.

OG is a hell of a movie. Everything about it was perfect. Casting choices. Acting performances. Hans Zimmer score. Perfect.

New one is watchable- but it’s pretty meh overall and just a nostalgic cash grab attempt. It’s something you’ll watch once and then never watch again. OG is on tv all the time and if you’re flipping through channels and it’s on you’ll just sit there and watch it even though you’ve seen it 100 times. It’s that type of movie. New one is just a throw away.

It was "free" on Paramount+ for us

I found that movie to be just kind of solid. I kind of wish I’d seen it in the theater.

I watched most of the Ballard LA series.  It remains "OK", pretty predictable and some of the acting is mediocre IMHO.

I had watched Psycho years ago when trying to work my way through AFI's Top 100 via Netflix 1 DVD at a time plan. I thought the movie was excellent, but never watched any other Hitchcock's.

Last month, Netflix had some of his catalog available, so I watched Rear Window, Vertigo, and The Man Who Knew Too Much. I was pretty underwhelmed. Solid acting, a few interesting cinematic shots, but the plots were mediocre at best.
