Cheers is great, and deserves the 1-seed.  But I had to go with Hill Street Blues, just a timeless TV theme.

Cheers has a catchier poppier song that's for sure.

I disagree with your opinion that it's better, and voted as such.

But I will say I'm surprised that someone else voted for HSB along with me.  Wonder who it was?

Hill Street Blues had a great theme song, but going up against Cheers is just unfair to nearly any show. I think it'll be strongly in the running to take the whole damn thing.

Well yeah.

I don't know what the 70s 1-seed is going to be, but assuming everything proceeds according to chalk, then Cheers won't have any problem beating Fresh Prince or Mission Impossible.

I voted for Cheers simply because I cannot remember the HSB song.  I know it was a really cool intro, and I just can't remember it and I keep hearing the Law and Order song when I try to remember it.  I'm sure once I youtube it will come back.  

HSB hasn't been re-ran in my neck of the woods in a long, long time.
