I had a new friend when we moved in the 1970s to a new neighborhood. I liked iced tea which makes you pee. In his hallway going to the bathroom were pics. I knew his sister, Ann. Ann and George were pictured. But there were 3 kids. The 3rd was Amy, who I didn't know.
George: Amy died of the flu.

It is simple: Young folks should be vaccinated, as should old folks. The rest of you: Take your risks, or protect yourselves.

grew up in the 60's - plenty of vaccines back then but don't remember a flu shot as a kid
