No TV's in bedrooms, ever. Bedrooms are for sleeping and other things.
Must be other things as I usually nod off in front of the Tube

High-five, congrats on the ... you know what, never mind.

(I had a friend in HS who had a room with a massive walk-in closet and took this to the extreme. He just moved the bed in there, so he had a room just for sleep. As far as I know, he was not sneaking in help for other things)

I very rarely fall asleep in my recliner at night.  (maybe a short nap in the afternoon)

If I feel myself nodding off, I get out of the chair, turn off the TV, and go to bed.

feel much better the next morning

TV got delivered a little while ago. I think I'll set it up later, and maybe watch something for the first time since April.

I highly recommend MASH.  And Hogan's Heroes.

I'd put this on the "What are you watching" thread, or whatever it's called, but I can't find it.

Just finished watching "The Queen's Gambit" on Netflix and I highly recommend it.  I'm not a big chess player, but they integrated the game into the story so well, I almost want to re-learn the game and play it.

And the music and fashion, all from late 50s thru late 60s, are pretty awesome.

I restarted playing on a computer after watching it.  I'm really bad now.  I thought it was fairly fun, better than most.

I saw an 80 inch at Costco 8K, not OLED of course, $1300.  I was tempted.  The wife sighed.  It was truly amazing, and not one of the top kinds (good brand though).

She said it was too big.

I think I've decided my next one will be OLED so I'm just going to wait until the prices are a little more bearable.
