Any of you Buckwipes make it Columbus on Saturday?

I'd have loved to have been there, knowing what I know now.

TBDBITL did a Rush concert at halftime. That is really freakin' cool.

I don't know if they are the "best" but they are by far the most entertaining marching band in the Big Ten

They are the best according to their motto - TBDBITL (The Best Damn Band In The Land). :)

you mean to tell me the Shaq-a-roni pizza isn't made with better ingredients?

I will get killed for this- but Papa John's is a guilty pleasure of mine. Like, I know their pizza sucks- but I still like it sometimes.

It would be interesting to see an actual subjective ranking put together by band people who know what they are talking about.
1919, 20, 21, 28, 29, 31, 34, 35, 36, 37, 42, 44
WWH: 1952, 54, 55, 57, 58, 60, 61, 62, 63, 65, 67, 68, 70, 72, 74, 75
1979, 81, 82, 84, 87, 94, 98
2001, 02, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

I've seen many. Ohio State, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and USC are the best. Michigan is close.

The rest of the B1G is also really good, sans NU. I've not seen the latest two newbies.

Auburn was good, I thought.

I'm not into the whole stupid thing, like Stanford, for example. I enjoy precision, and actual marching.

I'd guess that the Military Academies have some pretty mean marching bands.

The HBCU bands obviously get after it.

The OSU routines are just insane though. Animated drawings, and whatnot.

WV can not only form the outline of WV which is rather impressive in and of itself, but then they hold form while they march it around all over the field.

I will rank the Big Ten bands I have seen:

1. Wisconsin,
2. Ohio State,
3. Indiana
4. Michigan
5. Iowa
6. Northwestern

I have also seen others. Iowa State has a good band. I dislike UCLA's. I don't remember Cal's, or Texas Tech. Notre Dame, not too bad. Of the others, though, I would say FSU's is  right behind Wisconsin, ahead of Ohio State.
