I think she technically only recently "retired" within the last month or two.

Diane Keaton, whose long, versatile career as an actress, producer and director was indelibly highlighted by her Academy Award-winning performance as Woody Allen’s titular love interest in the actor-writer-director’s 1977 romantic comedy “Annie Hall,” has died in California, according to People. She was 79.

The above two women are very different people, but I loved hearing about them, seeing them, and I respected both of them.

Damn,RIP to a Buckeye Legend!!! At Ohio State he was a three-year starter at center for the Buckeyes . He was rated on par with former Buckeye All-American and 2001 Rimington Trophy winner LeCharles Bentley by offensive line coach Jim Bollman. "Most guys you get out of high school have to be taught to play center. He already knew the mechanics of the position. That was a big, big advantage," said Bollman. Ohio State's most durable lineman, Mangold logged over 300 minutes of action in each of his last three seasons. He finished his career with 33 starts in 45 games and the 29th player taken in the 2006 NFL Draft. RIP NICK

Damn.  June Lockhart.  I had no idea she was even still alive, I just assumed she passed quite some time ago.  Just barely made 100.  I stlll remember her from the old B&W TV shows like Lassie, and one time she was on Roseanne, and I think she was in Airplane!   The speaks Jive scene.

My bad, I mixed up JL with Barbara Billingsley, who played the mom on Leave it to Beaver.

This one is really sad. A great player, great personality and it seems by all account just a good guy.  It's odd, but it seems like when you're at the age that close to the age of the players, they stick with you for a long time. Those early 2000 - 2005 Ohio State and Michigan teams are the most memorable and he was definitely the opposition you knew well because he was an absolute beast. Tough to see someone that young go. I feel terrible for the family.
