really don't think it matters a bit, what he was aiming at

Overall, of course not.

It was only brought up in the context of whether or not it was a "pro" and now we know that it wasn't, anyway.

I can't imagine being that kid's dad, finding out about it, and driving him to turn himself in.  So many shattered lives now.

So the messages on the bullets are apparently references to Internet memes and the videogame Helldivers 2. Do with that what you will.

I learn something new every day. I very much doubt that 22-year old college dropout was aiming for the throat.
I fully agree.  I dont think he knew anything about the elevation and that's why the throat shot.
Humid air is less dense than dry air.
Yeah yeah because the droplets displace the other elements, which may make the humidity equation for the drop invalid, but that is what "they" teach and I've seen it.  Something causes it.  Firing over water is very tricky especially at or around the dew point.  Im guessing because of the delta between surrounding/nearby air and adjacent air.

Had you asked me 3 days ago who Charlie Kirk was, I'd have said no idea.  Name sounds vaguely familiar.
His entire thing was- public discourse and debate in the public square- to avoid violence.

basically- killed in the line of duty.

Looks like most of the inscriptions were related to gaming/discord memes.  Lots of disaffected youths in those circles, seething about everything or nothing, and easily radicalized by the bullshittery on the internet.

I meant, a 22 year old doing something this horrible, and dropping quotes from internet memes and violent games.

Another result of the youth in this country and their lack of jobs or lack of opportunity. Take your pick.

so happy my kids never got too deep into the video game rabbit hole.

Love that the "radical left" was immediately blamed, which is false.  Then some AI generated images tricked leftist media types into thinking he was actually far right, and demanded apologies, which was also false.

Turns out, per usual, the problem is mental health and access to guns, but hey, neither side can let a good crisis go to waste

It's too early to get to any conclusion here.
