Still need practice time but a coach can absolutely shortcut development time around the greens.

No way I was waiting for full retirement age.  The second I stopped working, I started collecting.
I'm hoping to stop working well before I'm of age to start collecting.

No. That's just a side piece. Less than 5% of my total holdings, and with expected vests of RSUs and future ESPP purchases, will trend down.

I'm about half diversified out of my concentrated position and into index funds (VTI) minus the small stakes in BB and RIVN. But the employer stock position should grow over the next 2-3 years due to continued RSU vesting, so I need to keep diversifying. Going to continue to sell tranches when it's at advantageous prices and lock in as much as I can into the index.

What I have right now plus the expected value of my future (granted) RSU vests over the next five years--at today's stock price--still isn't at my number. But the goal is those, plus maxing out 401k, plus stock market appreciation, gets me to the number somewhere between my daughter (last kid in the house) going to college (age 52 for me) and graduating college (age 56 for me).

I don't have enough in BB that it'll meaningfully hurt my goal even if it went to zero. However if BB really hits (i.e. 5-10x over the next half decade), I have enough that it might help pull the date forward.

My kids will be in college whilst I'm ages 54-60. Can't retire before then but maybe soon aftwerward.

My dad worked until he was 80.  He didn't really need to, he just didn't want to stay at home.  But I'm thankful because that, plus my mom's excellent benefits as a state employee of 25+ years, mean they are secure and I don't have to worry about them.  Plus every now and then they give my family a really nice gift, like my daughter's $6,000 French horn!

I bought some BB around $9.  My accounts are with Schwab.  I've had an account with them since they got started, almost.  Now I manage those and my wife's.

My company at one point had their options running through E Trade, and I must say, I had a truly terrible experience with them.  I was glad when my options were gone.

ETrade.

That's where all of my company ESPP/RSU run through, and I haven't seen any reason to switch out of that account.

Never used E-trade, so I can't compare, but I'm a very big fan of Schwab. Especially their Think or Swim software (thanks Ameritrade).

Think or Swim was really cool back around 15-16 years ago.  Haven't used it much since then, so I don't know much about it anymore.

As with most surviving software from 15+ years ago, it's been consistently maintained and upgraded, as needed. I have yet to find a desired feature that it lacks.

WTF happened to the market? I checked my stuff before a meeting and was up a fair bit, and then checked again and everything cratered by market close...

Seems like maybe things jumped right after the Fed said they were holding rather than raising rates... But what caused it to then reverse?
