Kate Upton was 21 years old when this photo was taken.

This image is from her photo shoot in Aitutaki, Cook Islands, captured by photographer James Macari on November 2, 2013 for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2014 50th Anniversary issue. Since her birthday is June 10, 1992, she had turned 21 just a few months prior to the shoot.

I've heard that my simple search/question used 16 ounces of water

The connection between Kate Upton and the Nebraska Huskers stems from a long-running internet joke and satirical article series published by the Nebraska sports blog Corn Nation.

The Origin of the Joke

• The "Hiring" Satire (Feb 2013): Corn Nation published a satirical article claiming that the Nebraska football program had hired Kate Upton to serve as a recruiting assistant to help land a top-5 national recruiting class.
• The Campus "Spotted" Hoax (July 2013): A few months later, the site doubled down on the running joke by publishing a spoof article claiming that Upton had been spotted on the UNL campus stealing the show with her "stunning good looks and charming wit"
