My friend wanted me to try to make her on the AI site I've been playing around on, to see how close I could get.
She didn't like it, because it was too close and creeped her out.  
To be fair, the nose is a little too big here, and this is how she looked 10 years ago - she's since lost 15 lbs and isn't nearly as bodacious.
How I would describe the AI creation for people is that due to facial variation, you'll probably never get someone 100%, BUT you can get it to like 97% of how a person looks and if you showed the image to someone and they had to pick the real person out of a lineup, you could do that every time in about 2 seconds.

She used to be perfect - like a comic book figure.  But she became pescatarian and is too skinny now.

You can tell the AI image industry is all guys, as it's like 99% pervy stuff AND the times I've tried to get a cool/altered image of Keith Jackson has yielded horrific 80s movie monster creature images.  Almost without fail.
Also, generating an old woman isn't very functional.

I used AI for my work headshots.  I didn't want to buy a suit, but I wanted pictures of me in a suit.  I uploaded about 10 different pictures of me, nothing special just random shots from Facebook, and it generated 20 or 30 pictures of me in a couple of settings wearing a few outfits, including suits.

It was weird, some looked nothing like me, some looked about identical, but several were really eerie-- they looked more like someone who looks sort of like me, impersonating me.  That was creepy.
