She might be surprised at how successful she is, but she knows exactly what she's doing.
She's also wrong when she says "As a woman, you're not responsible for how a man looks at you or objectifies you." What a woman is not responsible for is how a man acts or behaves towards her. If he behaves indecently, creepy, or criminally, that's 100% on him and not her.....you always have a choice in what you do, and she didn't make you do it. otoh, how a man looks at her and thinks about her, that is partially on her. It's naive and wrong to think a woman can prance around with hardly any clothes and make sexy videos or post sexy pics and that has no affect on how a man looks at you and thinks about you. You control your actions but your mental response is at least partially a natural response to a given stimulus. She's Insta-successful precisely because she causes a reaction in dudes. I suspect if she were being honest, she knows that.
Nobody is starting a Chick Wearing Normal Clothes And Not Posing thread, and there's a reason for that.
That said, I don't want to read too much into her statement, because given the situation she was addressing, it's entirely possible that she meant "how men act" and not "what they think," and just worded it poorly.
