The only reason I know HT exists is because she was on a show I loved to watch every week. 

Buddy of mine from HS drove limo for while part time and in between jobs. And she came into town on a promo tour or what ever. He said she was all class didn't talk down at all and very engaging good tipper to. Gave her some tips on dining and what not. Said of all the celebs he came across she was the package. I had read the other one was ya know like a Hollywood Head Ache

Hmm, see, this is where my age comes into play.  I know FF was a whole big thing, but before my time.  If HL was a faux FF (with that hairstyle), that was juuuuust before my time. 
The only reason I know HT exists is because she was on a show I loved to watch every week.  I think during the show's run, that hairstyle went away.  I didn't know of HL until then, maybe watching TJ Hooker, idk.  But post-FF hairstyle HL was BANGIN'.  Beautiful.  Not just bleach-blonde hair, sexy body hot, but all that AND genuinely beautiful.
I think FF and HT relied on hair and makeup a lot more than HL did, at least HL post-1985 or so.  Probably an unpopular opinion.

Oh, and Bo Derek does nothing for me.

Local and personal connection:
The company that produced and marketed the aforementioned famous Farrah Fawcett poster was called Pro-Arts and they were based in my hometown, Medina, Ohio.

Pro-Arts was owned by the Trikilis family and several of the kids were in school with me. Also, my dad drove a Medina school bus and had the kids on his route (which he hated, long story).

Same.....focus on vehicles gradually gave way to babes.
Dukes of Hazzard, Fall Guy, Knight Rider, Air Wolf, etc.  Bad ass.

Fall Guy kind of hastened things, having a full-on bikini shot through the saloon doors in every episode intro.  I feel like that was very rare, especially back then.

The following photo is my iPhone's wallpaper for several months now. AI generated elegance:



But follow me here. All this month my phone is the phone we're using to call remote into our morning Teams meeting with HQ on behalf of our job site. Two others with me who are therefore made aware of this wallpaper while talking to HQs on speaker are rather attractive women. So, to remove questions or bemusement from their mind, I changed the wallpaper to a stock image of snowy evergreens. But then I found out both women are married, so who cares. Would like to like my wallpaper again. What do you think (?), come Monday we're all talking to HQ while talking to this:
