The high is going to be 83 here tomorrow, with a 95% chance of rain.  A rare forecast for Phoenix, to be sure.
But back up near 100 at the end of the week.

Anyone got any tips for a good kit for repairing chips in a porcelain bathtub? A ceramic soap dish has taken several plunges and led to someone in my household tasking me with fixing it.

I’ve seen a bunch of different options, but if anyone has had any good experiences, would love to know what they used.

Home Depot has some good products for that. Been a while (30 years) but that's where I went.

I had  a ceramic dish that was slightly inset and it fell out.I tried some adhesive/bonding agent it fell off a few months later.A Union Tile Setter who worked with marble, granite, ceramic etc; told me use 100% clear silicone and I did. Wedged a 2x4 to keep it in place & duct tape the rest. Still there after at least 15 yrs, as fas as chips I'd the silicone those also.I didn't use the tub/shower for 2 days so that could be problematic

However I wouldn't use it as grab bar

You know those early mornings when you know you have a lot of [stuff] to do at work, so you're in and out of sleep well before your alarm goes off, and finally you decide, I might as well just get there a little early? So you get up, a little slower than had you slept the night through, but you figure you'll get some benefit from that?

Then the missus decides she has some incredibly important thing she has to talk to you about, delaying that early start you were getting.

Then you realize just after you leave the house, still a couple of minutes early, that you've left a critical item behind. So you go back for it.

Then--ok, this might be specific to me--you get a flat tire on your bicycle. So close to a bus stop that goes right where you are going that you could just hop on the bus, but the flat tire literally showed itself as you were going around a bus at that stop, which is leaving as you are considering your next move. The next bus comes in 15 minutes, but fixing the flat will probably take less than that. And it does, by about a minute. Well, the bus would have dropped you off several blocks away, anyway, so you would have been walking that bike with a flat for a while.

Then, because you are now fifteen minutes later than you normally are during your commute, the commute is more snarled with dumbasses than it is fifteen minutes earlier, further extending the commute as you dodge and weave around idiots. And to make matters worse, it feels like you hit every. gold. derned. light. Every one. (You really don't, it just feels that way.)

So instead of getting to work a little early to get to all that [stuff] you really need to get to, you get there about fifteen minutes later than usual.

Frick. That was my morning. And it made me grumpy.

You know those early mornings ....

I'm not familiar with that particular brand of early morning, but I am acquainted with days it seems the universe is determined to take a dump on you.

Sorry that was your morning.

I know those early mornings all too well, 4am or 5am and can't sleep
