I think you would have to group shows according to their genre to be fair

along those lines

comedy - Coach, Big Bang Theory, Cheers, Seinfeld

drama - Greys Anatomy, all three Chicago fire, med & pd, Hill St Blues.

syfy - Battlestar Galactica, all star treks, Twilight Zone

anyway just off the top of my head

Drama: The Americans

SciFi: Not a big fan.  I guess XFiles?  I liked Fringe for a while, then it didn't have a plan on how to end.

2 & 1/2 Men - every role was palyed by the person designed for it,funny as hell for 7/8 seasons before shithead sheen's melt down
Becker Harvard grad pissed and annoyed by everything,stops in the corner diner to smoke & chat, argue with the locals

Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul

For sci-fi The Watchmen, also The Expanse is really good for the genre, not sure I'd put it on the list of best ever

I think peak Breaking Bad, especially the final few episodes is about as high quality of anything I've ever watched,  TV, film, theater.

actually I don't think my TV has been on since Sunday and I really wasn't watching it

I don't watch much TV anymore, either.  Aside from live sports, and far less of that these days too.

We like to do Family Move Night with the kids once or twice per week, but that's movies, not TV shows.
