I idly wonder how often some team falls out of the predicted range of BC and WC.  I'd guess often enough as to make the notion notional.

If Wisconsin hits worst case, they'll be looking for a new coach and probably a new AD.

I'd actually speculate more often BC, especially if it's a team taking on an entire new coaching staff...

I'm basing this on the idea that a coaching staff gets fired for under-coaching to the talent level of the team. So a team that was so bad they fired their coach should see a regression to the mean just by hiring a moderately competent staff. If they hit a home-run hire, then they may start coaching the team ABOVE their natural talent level... And if they're new scheme-wise, opposing teams may not know what to expect, and it'll take a season to adjust to what the new staff is doing.

It says every big ten team, but it's missing half the big ten teams.

Michigan's 2026 recruiting class went from ranked somewhere in the 30's or 40's to #8 overall today with a run of commits over the last couple of weeks. Sherrone Moore has went on a heater on the trail, and is still in the very thick of it for 5* RB Savior Hiter and 5* WR Calvin Russell among several other top ranked 'croots.

suck it buckeyes.

Is there some real point to "media days" beyond just hype and coach speak from ... coaches?
