Old Weekly Highlight Shows
« on: January 12, 2023, 11:33:46 PM »
I've bee really enjoying these lately - just ESPN highlight shows.  Really fun to recall very good players I haven't thought of in years.

.
Weird/funny thing:  I was watching one and hearing UM QB's Scott Dreisbach's name clicked something in my brain that made me think of an old flame I had.  Man, she had a body on her, but she lived 45 min away (where I worked) and it didn't work out.
Weird part is that I didn't date her until about 15 years after the year of the highlight show that popped her name in my mind.

This one includes the worst QB performance in the history of 4th quarters:

sooooo....the 80+ yard fake punt run (by the punter) for  a Vandy TD vs Bama wasn't weird/funny?

Sure, but that's just amazing.
The chick in question I dated my first year teaching like 16 years ago.  I probably haven't even thought about her in 12-13 years.   I don't even remember her name.

I hit it off with her and her coworker at a training, then impossibly/randomly bumped into her a few days later and we both wanted to see each other again.  Very organic and fortunate.
We weren't together long, as living 50 min apart wasn't helpful.  Radical figure, though.
.
The crazy/funny part of the video was LSU's Jamie Howard throwing 6 INTs......5 in the 4th quarter alone, including 3 pick-6s.
A pick-6 to get Auburn closer, a pick-6 to tie the game, and another to give Auburn the lead.
If that happened in my Whoa Nellie game, I'd rage-quit and never play it again.  But it happened.  In real life.
