Michigan, circa 1948-1963

What's with the growth on the right side?  lol

Syracuse, 1972-1988, apparently.  Not flattering.

Any old mascots or logos you guys remember?  Any 1-2 year mistakes?  I can think of the Nebraska pants, lol, but logos specifically?

Most every Gators fan I know loved the UF/state/gator circle logo from the 80s:

This Miami (OH) from the 70s isn't so bad....

...but it also doesn't erase things like this...
People Aren't Mascots: 1947 - the Tomahawk magazine from Miami University ( Ohio) - mascot was the RedskinsI'll assume this is an ad or peripheral thing and not an official mascot.  But yeah, if I'm a Miami Native person, I'm probably not cool with my ass hanging out while sporting argyle socks.

Dogs, a donkey and the Alamites were Alabama mascots long before Big Al -  al.com
Jesus, what was the budget for these mascots?  This looks like a devil thing escaped hell.  I don't think the paint is dry yet, lol.

MSU's out of town scoreboard used to use classic logos when I was in school.  I wonder if they kept that when they converted to the new scoreboards a decade ago
