The Buckeyes are favored by nearly four touchdowns. The last time Michigan State was as big of an underdog was 1998 when the Spartans, coached by Nick Saban, defeated the top-ranked Buckeyes at Columbus, Ohio.Mel Tucker, a graduate assistant for Saban then, and later an Ohio State assistant coach (2001-04), knows what is needed for an upset.

UNL/RU had a close one and according to Vegas - Iowa vs the Illini is the only other contest that should be close - we shall see

Final day of rec league volleyball for my 5th grader.  Season ending tournament.   They draw out of a hat to set the bracket.   Always strange format.

I remember that upset in 98.  I'm pretty sure I watched from our hotel room in a snowy Ames Iowa after Dan Alexander ran over people.

Beautiful day here, 59°F at the moment, blue skies, some kind of festival going on in the park.  We'll check it out shortly.

We have a French couple visiting for a week next week, should be interesting, they have never been in the south except NO.

My cold is nearly two weeks old and still slightly lingering.  My dentist says I have an abscess and need an RC.

I paid for our February cruise, that is a zinger.

Paying for weddings sucks. There is absolutely positively zero benefit.

Lineman working on power lines.

Still probably won't have internet, so no streaming. Hotspot can't handle that load.
