bama has neutral games for next 2 years, then gets back into home and home series, with a trends seeming to be multiple p5 teams each year after 2025 or so. and usf from the g5 is no slouch either.

There was talk that UGA was figuring on an expanded playoff when their scheduling went bonkers.

Hmm... Wasn't that what I was saying?

• If you expand the playoff, conference champions will auto-bid. 
• If conference champions are auto-bid, you have no disincentive to schedule marquee OOC matchups, because losing that game won't disqualify you from the CFP.
• If conference champions are auto-bid, you have an incentive to schedule marquee OOC matchups, because if you fail to reach your CCG, beating a marquee team OOC is the sort of thing you might need to get an at-large bid.

So for everyone who wants to see more marquee OOC games and fewer pastries, an expanded playoff helps make that happen.

I will say, BC does kind of move the needle for me a bit, as they were frequently UMs second big opponent (back when that was a thing) in the 90s, when I was falling in love with the game.  Feels like they must have played like half the time in the 90s.

For a program like Alabama, how much does it matter in recruiting that they play in Florida versus say playing Michigan in Ann Arbor and being on TV?
