OT - How happy is your CFB team's fanbase?

Here's ESPN's take on that question

http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/20369846/ranking-happiness-every-college-football-fan-base-2017

FWIW, here are how the B1G teams fared

- some of the lower-ranked schools surprised me
- Sparty's been solid recently so maybe that ranking was just based on last season?
- also, if asked today, wouldn't Minnesota's fans be a LOT happier given the energy and optimism PJ Fleck has brought to campus?
- I'm guessing Nebraska peeps are tired of winning 9 games each year

1. Ohio State

9. Northwestern

12. Penn State

14. Wisconsin

22. Michigan

55. Maryland

58. Iowa

59. Indiana

73. Rutgers

87. Nebraska

107. Minnesota

108. Purdue

111. Illinois

115. Michigan State
NORTHWESTERN WILDCATS
Top-14 finish in the conference each year
Stellar 4-10 bowl record

Mine was one of the lost posts on this one...

But for Purdue, I don't buy 108th. The fans were probably even worse than that before Hazell was fired and Morgan Burke retired, but there's excitement over the new coach, the new permanent lights [finally!!], the new Football Performance Complex and locker room to impress recruits, etc.

Purdue football is coming off of dark times, VERY dark times. But there's enough excitement with Coach Brohm and AD Bobinski that we believe the rebuild is in the right hands.
