Thought you were a BUD Drinker, evidently with your pinkie sticking out
I enjoy this stuff once in a while......................

2021 Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon
Lodi

$12.00 / 375ml

Known for taking the road less traveled, Michael David Winery has always stood apart from the crowd. Whether it be their outlandish brands and packaging or their quirky personalities, Michael and David are definitely on a stage of their own and this wine showcases just that. The fruit for this wine comes from the original “super freak” himself, Michael Phillips’ Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard located only a medicine balls toss away from the winery.

Tasting Notes
Flexing a brand new stage, the Strongest Man on Earth continues to be the star of the show for the 2021 vintage! With amazing brawn and finesse, our 2021 Freakshow Cab opens with aromas of black cherry, raspberry and toasted hazelnut. He’s larger than life, medium in body and showcases flavors of juicy dark fruit, strawberry jam and clove with a smooth, lasting finish that will surely have you coming back for the second act.
Alcohol % 14.5
Acid 0.60g/100ml
pH 3.63
Aging 12 months - 88% French oak (13% new), 12% American oak

'Happy hour at the place where we call home'
In testimony, facility executive director Abigail Dahl told lawmakers that getting a permit would bring a lot of cost and red tape, and the permit just didn't fit the facility's situation.

"Assisted living and nursing home dining operations are already operating under a comprehensive public health regulatory framework designed to prevent foodborne illness and protect residents," said Dahl.

"Requiring a liquor license is simply red tape without value. It's duplicative, not protective."

LeBrun says she was nervous to testify before the state legislature. She had never done anything like that before.

So, with her daughters' help, she would practice in front of the mirror.

"Just because we are older, and living in assisted living, doesn't mean we should have fewer freedoms than anyone else," she told the state legislature.

"This amendment is simply putting into law what many people assume is already allowed: happy hour at the place where we call home."

In April the bill was passed with a vote of 129 to one. It was then signed into law by Gov. Walz in July.

I have discovered that Heineken 00 is about as good as the regular stuff.  I'm not a huge fan of either, but the former is a zero EtOH option I can drink and think I'm drinking beer.

I haven't tried many of them - haven't tried the Heineken 00

But, Bud Zero isn't terrible

Budweiser Zero is a 0.0% ABV alcohol-free, 50-calorie, and sugar-free American-style lager brewed by Anheuser-Busch. It offers a crisp, light taste modeled after regular Budweiser

I thought fried cheese curds coupled well with a 20 oz soda that costs $8.00.

Hmmph.
