Frames really lost to the worst team in the P4 as 4 TD favorites. Yikes.

So... Three ranked teams (two top-10) going down to unranked opponents so far today.

I feel like the "parity" is maybe that nobody's spent more than a semester with their current school... Nobody knows what the F they're doing because there's no continuity or development.

So it's not so much "parity" as it's high variance.

Take a bow James Franklin, PSU the first top 10 team to lose to an 0-4 or worse opponent since 1985

parity. variance. call it whatever you want.

I think what's going on is Saban & Kirby can't stack their rosters with 5*'s in the 3-deep at every position with bag men and then keep them there because of the transfer rules.

NIL has leveled the recruiting playing field for northern helmets with huge donor base like M, OSU, and ND- and now kids that aren't getting the playing time they want at BAMA or Georgia are hitting the portal to go start somewhere else.

this is 100% why Saban retired. he knew he wasn't going to be able to use the bag men to get all the top recruits he wanted- he started losing recruits he never did before- and he knew that he wasn't going to be able to keep players because of the 1-year sit out transfer rule there when they didn't play right away because of the portal so he was like F this I'm out.

It may be a 65 point total in Lincoln, yet feels like a 14-10 game.
