I know everybody groans when they see their team projected for the Pinstripe Bowl.  I think every Big Ten school absolutely hates it.    There once was a rule that the Big Ten had to pick 8 different schools in 8 years,  but its now been more than 8 years.  So I don't know what the rule is now.  I know the old Pac-12 schools are not part of the 2025 bowl contracts,  so they don't have to worry about it.

I believe they are part of the contract, but they are also eligible under the old Pac 12 contracts until those run out

Pretty sure old PAC-12 schools all still under old PAC contract for non playoff bowls.  It was only half decent way to figure out given suddenness of the collapse.

I kind of like Pinstripe but that is from a TV perspective only. 

Purdue is probably the team in the conference I most want to jump back up.  I would say win 2 of them with most likely loss probably being vs Rutgers, but could see pretty much any combo.

Somehow Miami and Ball State have successfully purged their trophy gaff from the internet, but the original one was extremely phallic, so they had to add these mascot heads, and a pile of firewood, or whatever that is.
