Fearless, you will appreciate this. Behind the Mic: Iowa @ Nebraska - YouTube
Is that state run television?Hours and hours of espousing the virtues of Kirk Ferentz led Meh - hard pass.Time well spent painting the garage .It would be tough watching 6hrs of Lombardi's Packers 5 NFL Titles. Maybe North Dallas Forty or The Longest Yard

I don't want to rain on the Nebraska parade, and I don't think I am raining on it. This is an example of extemporaneous reporting by a Nebraska journalist from the Omaha World Herald who is exceptionally and truly articulate. Detailed. Accurate.
Iowa needed a spark, Henry Marchese gave the Hawkeyes one | Football | omaha.com
He says, Nebraska has the worst special teams in the Big Ten. Nebraska special teams cost them . . . I can't keep up with his diatribe, but he lists several games Nebraska special teams cost them, and then attributes it to the head coach. Then says, possibly the worst special teams in the country. They had Iowa on their heels. The blocked punt then everything changed.
Iowa needs Sam McKeown at the Des Moines Register, or Iowa City Press Citizen. This guy, Sam McKeown speaks so clearly. "Beautiful Day, Nightmare Ending."
There is a lot of criticisms of journalists. Generally, most of them are just doing their job. This guy did his job exceptionally well. Many Nebraskans would agree.

Sam is one of my favorites.  He's not wrong regarding special teams.

Tom Shatel is another.  Both with the OWH

Steven M. Sipple is solid with the Lincoln Journal Star

the husker press corp is impressive as is their radio coverage team

hence............

A portal addition: Nebraska's first transfer portal addition of the offseason is a walk-on long snapper.

Brady Weas, a transfer from Georgetown, verbally committed to the Huskers on Wednesday evening.

Weas was in town on an unofficial visit on Friday for Nebraska's season-ending 28-21 loss to Iowa.

While it might not be the flashiest addition, the Huskers did need to address the position. Cade Mueller dealt with an injury in the middle of the season and Cameron Pieper missed time, too, at times putting NU down to its third option, Camden Witucki.

The Huskers in the past, too, have used different long snappers for punts and for shorter snaps with the place-kicking unit.

It's an oft-overlooked position, but anything Nebraska can do to improve its kicking and punting operation going forward, it needs to do.

The Iowa-Nebraska game on Black Friday was a smashing success in terms of ratings.

The regular season finale between the opponents was the most-watched game in the history of the Big Ten Network:
