I tend to think "we" over react to the last game when it was dramatic.

Ohio State is far ahead of Nebraska at this point, and it won't be close.  49-24.

Nebraska has rolled up over 500 yards several times, and OSU has made bad offenses look good.  They are also a one trick pony on offense have become easier and easier to defend.  The only games they haven't been within single digits in the second half were Oregon State, Tulane, and Rutgers.

Yep. Not sure the direction we're headed is that great either...they appear to be recruiting tall, lean, kids for DE. Not really the ideal frame to take on BIG-level OTs, IMO.

I would much prefer to go big all across the front...all three dudes are heavy DT types who can, in theory at least, drop a knee and split a combo block. If you want to load up a bit at ILB, fine. Everybody else would be defensive back type players. If I see a second TE I sub into a 40 front.

I sure as shit am not going to allow my defense to be too slow because of my personnel decisions, if I can help it at all.
this.... or I'd go with a 4-2 as my base D and use 3 techs across the entire front.  my 2 LB's would be 210-215 lbs and could cover.

Usually I picture people as their avatar.

Anonymous Coward is a young Bo Schembechler, Medina always has a shaved head painted to look like a Buckeye helmet, bwarbiany is himself, and so forth.
