There can be only 4!

I stay out of these because my cfb knowledge outside of LSU dries up prior to around 2000, but surely Suh has got to be a unanimous pick here.  The guy was other-worldly.

As stated, my opinion doesn't count, but I'd go:

  • Suh
  • Sapp
  • Dorsey
  • Fairley

Aaron Donald, Pitt
Ndomukong Suh, Nebraska
Lee Roy Selmon, Oklahoma
John Henderson, Tennessee

Not so impressed with Henderson
Not a great senior season

I'm not sayin it's wrong , just pointing out his senior season

it would have been hard for Suh to put up the same or better numbers if he had played his senior season

Agreed. Sorry Fearless.

Rick Flair was cool being the dirtiest player in the game, though.

Suh
Sapp
Steve Entman (Washington)
Rich Glover (Nebraska) He's the only one I didn't see play, but reading about him makes me think he deserves it.

I'm a sucker for guys who were good enough to finish high in the Heisman voting as an interior defensive lineman...

Honorable mention for a Goopher: Bronco Nagurski.

He was certainly a huge part of that last ND championship team.
