A small addendum, Coan didn’t play early because they hoped to redshirt him. So he was a backup QB but not a mop up QB.

He played well today. Not a lot of yards, but QBR of 150, on two TDs and no picks. That and Taylor going off was just enough.

I don't know what will happen in this game, is Purdue going to throw the damn ball downfield again, which we forgot how to do against Minnesota.  Are we going to try and run the ball?  Is Blough going to show up with head on right and ready to play?  Can we stop the run?  All of this and the emotions of senior day, I hope we will see a great effort from Purdue as I am sure Brohm was chewing some butt after some stupid penalties in the 1st half last week.  That was an embarrassing performance last week and I would think they would want to fix that this week.
Umm that'd be a big hell no and the Wisc hex continues yet another year.
I deserve at least part of the blame for the loss.  I dug my Orton jersey out and wore with pride, as I thought it was time to finally end the curse and instant nosedive for Purdue football that started with that gut shot fumble and choke job in 2004.  Nope.

Quite Purdue like we could give 2 back up QBs career days in 2 games they so easily could have won.

The weirdest part. He was pretty middling early. Like 9-17 for 90 yards. Then finished 7-7 for 60 to close.
He was basically the Coan we knew for three-plus quarters and then came together.
