Ugly game in what’s going to be an ugly season.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969

Penix is a Sparty slayer. In his 3 career games (2 at IU, 1 WASH) vs MSU he's....

69% completion, 1,003 yards passing, 10 TD's (9 PASS, 1 RUSH) vs 2 INT's.

If his history is any indication, he's going to have a whale of a game.
After today, in 4 starts vs Sparty (2 at IU, 2 at Wash), Michael Penix Jr is now;

71% completion, 1,476 passing yards, 14 TD's (13 Pass, 1 Rush) vs 2 INT's

Coach Prime talks about "it's personal".... Michael Penix Jr plays like it's personal whenever he plays Sparty. Holy shit.

Ugly game in what’s going to be an ugly season.
schedule certainly isn't getting any easier...

Maryland - they have an offense but highly suspect defense, so who really knows.
@Iowa - that's going to be a bitch to win vs that defense in Kinnick- but Iowa has no offense so it should be a close game.
@Rutgers - they might just be better than anyone thought they would be- Rutgers will probably be favorites at home
Michigan - hey maybe JJ will feel bad and just chuck balls up to them- he certainly did so tonight
@Minnesota - toss-up, seems very winnable
Nebraska - toss-up, seems very winnable
@Ohio State - no shot
@Indiana - seems winnable
Penn State - no shot

they have been one of the worst pass defenses in all of college football for a couple years running- Michael Penix Jr is legit and owns them- kinda knew they were going to get bombed on by him.

Kim stinks at QB, don't care what any of them tell you Thorne was much better than him. any of them saying anything else is just cope for losing him in the portal to Auburn. they lost arguably the #2 WR in the entire country to FSU in the portal and they just don't have a lot of talent on that roster. the best raw talent on that roster is on the DL and it's all true freshman and sophomores and well those take a couple years to develop and pay off.

There is a reason King Barry passed on Mel Tucker.
