So Mel Tucker was a massive fraud, and assembled a garbage staff.  But, you can tell why two schools thought he might be head coach material, and nobody ever thought that about Harlan Barnett.  Is it a bad spot?  For sure.  Is it clear that the coordinators are awful.  Yup.  But my God is this man in over his head as a HC

As bad a spot as Mel left this program in, I feel like they would have won 1 or 2 out of Iowa, Rutgers, Minnesota with him.  Or just an actual head coach, even a bad one.

May be an image of 2 people, people playing football and text that says 'FOX "WITH TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA LEAVING, KANSAS IS GOING TO BE AT THE TOP OF THIS CONFERENCE FOR AWHILE. IF THEY KEEP LEIPOLD, THEY'LL BE AT THE TOP OF THE CONFERENCE" -URBAN MEYER ON BIG NOON KICKOFF-'

I said all along I liked his HS tape better than Houser's even though Houser was more highly rated.  But I'm not sure they "found" their QB.  He had a good drive, Houser had a bad game.  This isn't like 2016 when they finally pulled the plug on O'Conner, and went to Lewerke, who suffered a season ending injury after a game and a half.  Is Leavitt the better option going forward?  Maybe, but I'm not convinced.  It's not like Houser was the guy up until now.  Kim was the starter for the first 5 games

minnesota defense had some things to say about the QB having a "bad" day
but MSU WR's did not help either.  lots of drops
but they could not runt he ball at all until they switched QB's and then only in his first series then we put a mobile DE on him as a scout and only rushed 3 which really helped slow them down
