ok so this is the Michigan defense I remember from last year....very fast, very physical, and able to light up the opposing offensive line with 4 guys and without having to blitz much (29% blitz rate last year vs 48% first 3 games under Don Wink Brown Martindale).

Iowa State up 31-0 at the half against Arkansas State. You know, the same Arkansas State team that UofM beat by 10 ;D

Meh. Ark State scored their final 2 TD’s in garbage time in the 4th QTR vs 2nd and 3rd stringers to make the score look closer than it was. And that was even with Davis Warren starting at QB and throwing 300 interceptions and going 3and out the entire first half.

Michigan got away with a 1st down there. He was a little short methinks on that 4th and 1.

Kalel Mullings has excellent vision and can cut it back at 230+ pounds. That is the biggest difference between him and Edwards. Mullings has vision and sees the open gaps & cut back lanes. Donovan Edwards has no vision and doesn’t see them.

Umm…they scored 15 of their grand total of 18 points (OMG SO MANY POINTS!) on two TD’s in the 4th QTR the first with 5 mins and change and then the second with 8 seconds left in the game….

Donovan Edwards sucks now. It’s so weird.

Idk if he’s trying too hard or just has never developed any vision. Maybe both?

Will Johnson and Zeke Berry have both looked really good in coverage this game. Like really really good.

Kalel Mullings is RB1. And a fucking tank. 230+ lbs that USC is tired of hitting.
