  • Northwestern at Washington, 7 pm, FS1

BTW anyone been to Vegas lately? I haven't been since getting married there 10 years ago, but we are going after Thanksgiving. Heard everything is pricey, but not sure if any good shows/restaurants etc have opened.

I think Trojans would have helped that situation

It's Vegas. There are always good shows running and good restaurants.

I was there about a year ago and Vegas is as dirty as ever, if not more so. We were staying at Caesar's as that's where the show we were seeing was, and I have to say it seemed more dated and run down than I'd remembered (last time I'd been there was shortly pre-COVID, and before that it was ~2014).

So it might be a good idea to stay at one of the better/newer properties.

My brother is out there several times per year for work, he stays at the Wynn or Aria.

What show did you see? I like the shows as much as anything - I don't really gamble. I think I saw Absinthe at Caesars last time I was there, which was great. We are staying at some off strip property. I never stayed off the strip but we aren't paying for it so I guess I can't complain.

That was for Adele. Previous shows we've seen (also at Caesar's) were Jerry Seinfeld and one of the Cirque shows, that was probably 2019. In 2017 we saw George Strait.

The 2017 trip we stayed at a property called Vdara. It was still probably considered "on strip", but it's a hotel without a casino. Entire property is non-smoking, which was nice. Doesn't cater to late night crazies. And they had a walking bridge straight into the Bellagio, so it's not like it was far from anything. We would have stayed there last year for the Adele show but it was fully booked.
